Mariscal told Insider: "We can save a lot of money, get married, and use that money to build a family." "Take the bus is the best option."
So they set out to make this idea a reality and purchased a bus to refurbish and transform it into their modern dream home in the middle of this century.

At first, they wanted to do
But decided to hire experienced experts.
The contractor added walls, AC power, plumbing and electrical systems, and hired people to paint the exterior walls of the house.

Mariscal and Saldana told Insider that downsizing is the hardest part of moving into a small house.
Saldana told the insider: "Not everything in our ordinary apartment can be loaded on the bus." "It is difficult to lose a lot of our things."
The bedroom area is about 60 square feet, so it is enough to accommodate their queen size mattress and two walkways on both sides.
They have been in and out of the emergency exit at the back. There are windows everywhere in the area, so there is a lot of natural light in the room.
The couple said that Lolita likes to lie in bed with the ladies. So far, the puppy has learned to love bus life.
The couple said that the color of their bus caused much controversy.
Mariscal wants pink, and Saldana wants blue.
At the end of the day, they chose the shade of pink that matched their iconic sofa.
Mariscal told Insider: "We calculated every penny, nickel and dime on this bus." "Sometimes it seems almost surreal. We did it."
