As "underestimated any settings".
The Swiss furniture brand said that Moca can be used in both private and public places, and combines durable materials and timeless beauty to ensure "the product has an exceptionally long service life."
It is inspired by the traditional curved tubular steel chair, developed by Vitra and Morrison, and aims to make the model more ergonomic and stackable.
“Considering the smaller cafes and bars, I realized that this type of plywood and tubular steel chairs originated in the 1950s and 1960s and created the right atmosphere,” explains British designer Morrison.
He continued: "Most of the batteries you see that are still in use are also aging." "So, the goal of the project is to design a new chair with better ergonomics and stacking possibilities. "
Moca is composed of two plywood shells, which form an anatomically shaped seat and backrest, mounted on a base structure composed of two overlapping steel arches. One of the arches forms the front leg, which then extends upward to form the backrest support, while the second arch serves as the back leg of the chair.
Moca is made of natural or dark oak veneer, while the base can be made of chrome-plated or powder-coated matte enamel.
