The newest coach at Edgewood College, Luis Puesan, is busy filling out the roster for his team next school year. But his players can't play football or tennis.

Some of the students will receive scholarships. They will play in the school's competitive video game team and participate in Rocket League, League of Legends, Brave and other competitions.

The college has joined more and more institutions, and in recent years has added competitive gaming programs (also known as e-sports) to its campus products.

At a time when enrollment is decreasing-Edgewood understands this situation well. According to the latest data provided by a university spokesperson, the university reported that since 2013, the enrollment of full-time undergraduates has declined every year until it increased by 3% this fall.
