Colonial Little Theatre receives donation for 150 new chairs for auditorium | News, Sports, Jobs - Leader Herald

The Johnston-Colonial Theatre received donations from two locals. According to a press release, the theatre has purchased 150 new chairs in the auditorium of the Colonial Theatre One Colonial Court.

CLT is the second oldest community theater in New York State since 1938, and its doors are still closed due to the pandemic. Due to volunteers and board members, the theater has been cleaned, repainted, and internally remodeled, including new auditorium chairs purchased and installed from Derby Office Equipment in Gloversville. It is also necessary to update the stage curtains, remodel the restrooms, and other expensive items that cannot be purchased from the theater budget. Contributions to help realize these projects are necessary and welcome.

According to donors Bill Crankshaw and Wally Hart,
