Amy Erickson to chair Detroit Lakes School Board for another year | Detroit Lakes Tribune

Several Detroit Lake District Board of Education officials were re-elected for their positions at a special organization meeting Monday night, January 4, in the Detroit Lakes Middle School Auditorium.

The board members voted unanimously to reappoint Amy Erickson as the chairman of the board and John Steffl as the vice chairman.

In April, Thomas (Thomas Thomas) took over Kylie Johnson as board secretary, and Kylie Johnson as treasurer (Jennifer Pedersen held this position last year).

The new board member Courtney Henderson (Courtney Henderson) also swore to attend her first formal meeting, although she had attended several meetings as a guest.

The board also voted to keep its salary at the 2020 level. Board members will again be paid $200 a day for attending regular and special board meetings and board work meetings. They will also receive a remuneration of $60 per day to participate in any committee meetings, seminars, seminars, conventions, or other events they represent the school district.

The next regular meeting of the board of directors is scheduled to be held at the middle school at 5:30 pm on Monday, January 11.
